The Huawei Mate XTs has been officially announced and is the second Tri-Fold from Huawei and the market in general. The new device brings some minor changes, new colors and a lower price.

The Mate XTs comes with a 10.2-inch screen, LTPO OLED technology, with a 3K resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The panel has a ratio of 16:11, as if we have three phones next to each other. Its brightness is particularly impressive, since it reaches 1,800nits, which is impressive for such a large screen. At the same time, it maintains the support for penaki!

If we unfold only one side of it, we have a 7.9-inch screen, while when it is completely folded, the screen is 6.4 inches, that is, as much as a standard smartphone. What is terribly impressive is that when unfolded, the thickness of the device is only 3.8 mm, setting new standards for what a thin device is. When the device is folded, it reaches 12.8mm and weighs 298 grams.

Photographically we will find an upgraded ultra wide angle camera to 40MP. Next to it we have the basic camera at 50MP with variable aperture f/1.4-f/4.0. We will also find a periscope camera at 12MP, for 5.5x optical zoom.

Inside the MateXTs we will find the Kirin 9020, Huawei's newest chip. It's the same chipset we have in the Pura 80 Ultra and it promises 36% higher performance than its predecessor. In terms of memory, the Mate XTs comes with 16GGB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage space.

The device comes with HarmonyOS 5.1 and a 5,600mAh battery. It supports wired charging at 66W, wireless charging at 50W and reverse wireless charging at 7.5W.

The pricing starts from 2,165 for the 256GB version, which is currently cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is a simple foldable.
