Amazon Fire TV Stick HD Deal at MediaMarkt: Limited-Time Offer 2026

The Amazon Fire TV Stick HD is currently available at MediaMarkt for just €29.74, down from its regular price of €44.99, as part of the -15% miMediaMarkt campaign. This limited-time offer is only valid for a few hours, so if you've been looking to smarten up an old TV, now is the moment to act.

Amazon has officially discontinued the Fire TV Stick HD to make way for a newer, more compact generation. However, stock is still available at some retailers, and MediaMarkt is offering this deal while supplies last. The discount brings the device down to one of its lowest prices yet, making it an excellent value for anyone wanting to add streaming capabilities to a non-smart TV.

Why the Fire TV Stick HD Is Still a Smart Buy

Even though it's been replaced by a newer model, the Fire TV Stick HD remains a highly capable streaming device. It plugs into any HDMI port and instantly transforms your TV into a smart one, giving you access to all major streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and more (subscriptions required).

What sets this model apart is its portability. It's compact enough to move easily between TVs—just plug it in along with the power adapter, and you're ready to stream. This makes it perfect for secondary TVs, guest rooms, or even taking on vacation.

The included remote comes with dedicated buttons for popular services such as Netflix and Prime Video, so you can jump straight into your favorite shows. Plus, the Fire TV Stick HD supports Alexa voice control, either through the remote or an Echo device, letting you search for content, control playback, and manage smart home devices hands-free.

Key Features of the Fire TV Stick HD

• HD streaming: Supports up to 1080p resolution for crisp, clear picture quality.
• Alexa voice remote: Use voice commands to find shows, launch apps, and control smart home devices.
• Compact and portable: Easily move it between TVs with different HDMI ports.
• Wide app compatibility: Access Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, and thousands more.
• Easy setup: Plug into HDMI, connect to Wi-Fi, and sign in to your Amazon account.

How This Deal Compares

At €29.74, the Fire TV Stick HD is significantly cheaper than its original list price and even undercuts many competing streaming sticks. To put it in perspective, here's how it stacks up against other popular options:

As the table shows, the Fire TV Stick HD at its discounted price is the most affordable option with voice control included. The Roku Express is similarly priced but lacks a voice remote, while the Chromecast and 4K Fire Stick are considerably more expensive.

Who Should Consider This Deal?

This offer is ideal for anyone with an older TV that isn't smart. If your TV has an HDMI port, you can instantly breathe new life into it and enjoy modern streaming services without buying a new television. It's also a great pick for frequent travelers who want to take their entertainment with them—just plug it into any hotel TV with an HDMI port. However, if you have a 4K TV and want to make the most of its resolution, you might want to step up to the Fire TV Stick 4K. But for most people with 1080p TVs, the HD model is more than sufficient and now offers exceptional value. The background to this story is set out in Trending: latest articles.
