Best Samsung Phone to Buy in 2026: Top Picks by Price Range 2026

Choosing the best Samsung phone in 2026 can be overwhelming with the company's vast catalog. Samsung releases new models every year, making it tricky to pick the right one. That's why we've rounded up our top recommendations for each price range, so you can find the perfect device for your budget.

Entry-Level: Samsung Galaxy A17

If you just need a phone for calls, messages, and basic apps, the Samsung Galaxy A17 offers excellent value at around 199 euros. It stands out with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals.

One key advantage: the base model has 128GB of storage, but it includes a microSD card slot—a feature often missing from mid-range and flagship phones. Battery life is solid at 5,000mAh, and while the camera won't impress photography enthusiasts, it gets the job done for everyday snaps.

Budget-Friendly Step-Up: Samsung Galaxy A26

For just a bit more at 239 euros, the Samsung Galaxy A26 brings noticeable upgrades. It packs 6GB of RAM in the base configuration, a faster processor, and a 120Hz refresh rate display for smoother animations.

The A26 also benefits from a better camera setup and longer software support, making it a smarter long-term investment. If you can stretch your budget slightly, this is the sweet spot for budget-conscious buyers.

Mid-Range: Samsung Galaxy A36

Moving into the mid-range, the Samsung Galaxy A36 delivers a balanced experience. It features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a capable Snapdragon processor, and a 50MP main camera with OIS for sharper photos.

The A36 also supports 45W fast charging and comes with 8GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking. At around 350 euros, it's a solid choice for users who want premium features without flagship prices.

Upper Mid-Range: Samsung Galaxy A56

The Samsung Galaxy A56 pushes closer to flagship territory with a more powerful Exynos chipset, a refined design with glass back, and improved low-light camera performance. It retains the 120Hz AMOLED display and adds wireless charging support.

Priced around 450 euros, the A56 is ideal for those who want near-flagship performance but don't need the absolute best camera or display technology.

Flagship: Samsung Galaxy S25

For top-tier performance, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is our pick. It boasts a stunning 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, and a versatile triple-camera system with a 50MP main sensor.

The S25 also offers advanced AI features, including improved nightography and real-time translation. At around 900 euros, it's an investment, but one that delivers a premium experience.
