POCO F9 Pro Deal: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 & 185Hz Display 2026

The POCO F9 Pro has just received one of its first major discounts, dropping to €669 on Powerplanet. This Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered phone originally launched at €899.99, and while the initial promo price of €630 is gone, this deal still offers substantial savings for a device packed with high-end gaming features.

For gamers seeking a powerful Android phone that excels in performance and battery life, the POCO F9 Pro is a compelling option. Let's break down what makes this deal worth considering.

POCO F9 Pro Specifications and Gaming Prowess

At the heart of the POCO F9 Pro lies the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. This combination ensures smooth performance even with the most demanding games, and the 256GB storage model on offer provides ample space for your library.

But the real standout is the 185Hz refresh rate display, a rarity in the smartphone world. This ultra-high refresh rate makes scrolling and gaming feel incredibly fluid, giving competitive players a potential edge. Whether you're into fast-paced shooters or racing games, the visual experience is top-notch.

Audio and Battery Life

POCO has partnered with Bose to deliver exceptional audio quality, a feature often overlooked in gaming phones. The dual speakers produce rich, immersive sound that enhances gameplay without headphones. Additionally, the 6,330mAh battery ensures you can game for hours on end, and 100W fast charging gets you back in action quickly.

These features make the POCO F9 Pro a well-rounded device for both gaming and everyday use. The combination of top-tier performance, a unique display, and premium audio sets it apart from typical flagship killers.

Is This Deal Worth It?

At €669, the POCO F9 Pro undercuts many flagship devices while offering comparable or even superior gaming specs. The launch promo at €630 was slightly better, but this discount still represents a significant €230 saving from the regular price. For anyone looking for a high-performance Android phone, this is a solid opportunity.

Keep in mind that deals like this can be fleeting, especially for newly released phones. If you're in the market for a gaming-centric device with a unique display and powerful processor, the POCO F9 Pro at this price is hard to beat.
