This update covers Hanson's comments, Ed Husic's gas tax push, and orcas' explosive hunting tactics.
Hanson's Controversial Remarks on Domestic Violence Leave
In an unearthed November 2025 podcast, Hanson argued that the family law system has become "broken" because courts favor women, "suppressing the males all the time". She suggested domestic violence is a "two-way street", drawing sharp criticism from advocates. The comments resurfaced via Nine newspapers after Hanson was previously criticized for similar views.
