D4vd Murder Case Hearing Details Brutal End for Teen Girl 2026

The D4vd murder case hearing has revealed new details about the relationship between the rising pop singer and 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found in an impounded car. The preliminary hearing exposed text messages that paint a disturbing picture of manipulation and secrecy, leading to charges of murder, child sexual abuse, and mutilation of human remains.

Key Evidence Presented in D4vd Murder Case Hearing

During the recent preliminary hearing, prosecutors presented a series of text messages exchanged between D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, and Celeste, dating back to when she was just 11 years old. The messages show Burke discussing dreams of marriage in Italy and having children together, while also expressing fear of law enforcement discovering their relationship.

One particularly revealing message from June 2024 read: "i can't wait to move in tg without the cops bitching baby," according to Courthouse News. This came after police had already visited Burke in February 2024, following his number being found in Celeste's phone log during a missing person investigation. Burke claimed she had told him she was 18, but the texts suggest he was aware of her true age and wanted to keep the sexual nature of their relationship secret.

The Tragic Discovery and Social Media Sleuths

Celeste's mangled and decomposing body was discovered last September, stuffed in an impounded car registered to Burke. The gruesome find sparked a frenzy among social media sleuths, particularly on Discord where Burke had built a following as a gamer before transitioning to music. Fans combed through his past videos and content, searching for clues about his connection to Celeste.

Prosecutors allege Burke stabbed Celeste to death and severed her limbs to prevent her from revealing their sexual relationship, which began when he was 18 and she was 13. Burke has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
