J'ai fabriqué ce collier en pierre petoskey avec une pierre petoskey du Michigan dont j'ai découpé et façonné la tortue en cuivre massif. Les pierres petoskey sont les vestiges d'un ancien récif corallien déposé dans le Michigan par la glaciation. La pierre mesure environ 10 mm et est ronde et bombée. Le pendentif dans son ensemble mesure environ 1,22 pouces de haut, soit 31 mm. J'ai également fabriqué le cordon. C'est un cuir noir avec des composants en cuivre. Après avoir appliqué un léger effet vieilli (assombrissement intentionnel du métal pour rendre les détails martelés à la main de la tortue plus visibles), j'ai recouvert le cuivre du pendentif de résine pour aider à prévenir le ternissement. Les composants du cordon s'oxyderont naturellement avec le temps. Le cordon mesure environ 20 pouces de longueur. C'est un collier sympa que tout le monde peut porter et qui ferait un excellent cadeau. Supports et porte-colliers non inclus. Les photos montrent les deux colliers que j'ai fabriqués et qui sont disponibles. Vous recevrez l'un de ces deux.
