From Millennium Wish to Literary Legacy
In 1999, a journalist asked Donaldson about her millennium wish. She hoped her new book would become a classic but quickly joked it off, not wanting to sound arrogant. That book was The Gruffalo, and her wish came true beyond anyone's expectations. Now, with Gruffalo Granny, Donaldson extends the beloved series by introducing the protagonist's grandmother, while the clever mouse remains at the heart of the story.
