Laura Loomer’s Dramatic Reversal on Ukraine
Laura Loomer, known for her large following on X (formerly Twitter) and controversial pro-Trump commentary, has long minimized Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. However, during a recent trip to Kyiv, she experienced her first air raid and publicly admitted, “I often said I don’t care. Looking back, that wasn’t very nice of me to say. We need to have moral clarity.” This moment of introspection highlights how direct exposure to conflict can shift even hardened political stances.
