Mercedes-Benz introduces steer-by-wire technology in the facelifted EQS, removing the mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels for the first time in a production car. At low speeds, such as when parking, the steering wheel responds more immediately. At high speeds, the response becomes softer for stability and safety.
