Step by step to make a bottle rack for the garden

After cutting all the necessary pieces of wood. We mount them with screws. Next, we place a post at the base that will be used to nail the bottle rack into the grass. Finally, we varnish the entire piece, thus protecting it from the elements.

We begin by cutting with the jigsaw all the pieces that will make up our wine rack.

Next, we machine them, first making holes in the side pieces for the handle.

Step #3

We also have to drill holes in the supports for the glasses.

Step #4

After making the holes, we countersink them, we only need to open a channel through which we will insert the foot of the glass until it is deposited in its place.

Don't forget to also make the hole to insert and fix the peg on which the entire bottle rack will rest.

Before continuing we will have to sand all the pieces well.

Once we have it, we can assemble the structure. We begin by joining the cup supports to the sides with lag screws.

Next, we set the base for the bottle.

We place the rest of the pieces in the same way, including the handle and the spike.

To finish we just need to apply a good exterior varnish that will protect the wood from the elements.
