MediaMarkt's Best Deals on Kindle, Fire TV Stick, and Echo 2026

MediaMarkt's Oktubre campaign has launched with top deals on Kindle, Fire TV Stick, and Amazon Echo devices, undercutting Amazon's own upcoming Prime Day event. The retailer is offering discounts on popular Amazon products, including the basic Kindle at €89.90 and the Fire TV Stick 4K Select at €27.99, among others. With Amazon's Prime Day just days away, these early offers give shoppers a chance to save without waiting.

Why MediaMarkt Is Discounting Amazon Devices

MediaMarkt's Oktubre sale is a preemptive move to capture attention before Amazon's Prime Day, which typically features deep discounts on Amazon-branded devices. By offering competitive prices now, MediaMarkt hopes to attract shoppers who might otherwise wait for Prime Day. This strategy also puts pressure on Amazon to match or beat these prices during its own event.

The discounts are part of a broader trend where retailers are launching their own sales events around major shopping holidays. For consumers, this means more opportunities to find good deals on popular tech products.

Key Deals to Consider

Here are the standout offers from MediaMarkt's Oktubre sale:

• Kindle (basic model): €89.90 – a solid e-reader with a 6-inch display, 16GB storage, and up to 8 weeks of battery life.
• Kindle Colorsoft: €164 – features a color display for reading comics and magazines.
• Fire TV Stick 4K Select: €27.99 – supports 4K streaming, Alexa+ voice control, and compatibility with Amazon Luna and Xbox Game Pass.
• Amazon Echo: various models discounted – smart speakers with Alexa for home automation and music.

Kindle Deals: Basic vs. Colorsoft

The basic Kindle at €89.90 is a great entry-level option for avid readers. It offers a high-resolution display, 16GB of storage, and weeks of battery life, making it ideal for daily reading. The Kindle Colorsoft, priced at €164, adds a color screen, which is perfect for graphic novels and magazines.

Both models are discounted from their regular prices, but the basic Kindle is particularly appealing for those who primarily read text. The Colorsoft is a better choice for users who want a more versatile reading experience.

Fire TV Stick 4K Select: Affordable 4K Streaming

At €27.99, the Fire TV Stick 4K Select is one of the most affordable ways to add 4K streaming to your TV. It supports Amazon Luna and Xbox Game Pass for cloud gaming, and comes with Alexa+ for voice control. However, it lacks support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, so it's best suited for entry-level and mid-range TVs. Context on how this played out before sits in MediaMarkt's Best Deals on Kindle, Fire TV Stick, and Echo.

For most users, this stick provides excellent value, especially if you're not looking for premium audio-visual features. The background to this story is set out in Trending: latest articles. A related thread runs through Amazon Prime Day Final Hours: Tech Deals Up to 57%.
