The Kevin Keegan corrections published by The Guardian clarify misstated league positions for Newcastle United during his playing career, among other errors. This article details the key amendments and how readers can request further corrections.
Kevin Keegan Tributes Corrected
The original tribute to Kevin Keegan misplaced Newcastle United’s league positions during his time as a player. The team finished fifth in Division Two in his first season, not seventh as previously reported, and were promoted from third place in 1983-84, not as champions. These Newcastle United corrections ensure accuracy for fans and historians.
