Joe Gomez Injury Worsens Defensive Worries
Joe Gomez hobbled off after just 10 minutes, leaving two teenagers – Calum Scanlon and Kieran Morrison – to form a raw partnership in central defense. Iraola expressed disappointment, saying: "Probably the worst news has been straight away the injury of Joe." This deepens Liverpool's need for defensive reinforcements.
