Race Dynamics and Key Rivalries
Jonas Vingegaard, the 2023 champion, acknowledged the challenge but remained optimistic. “In 2023, I lost two minutes to Jonas in the time trial and the next day I lost eight minutes, so it’s quite obvious anything can change in one day,” he noted. Meanwhile, Tom Pidcock struggled after his previous day's efforts, falling off the podium pace.
