Aldi's Budget Smart Tag Pack for Android and iPhone Drops to 15 Euros 2026

Aldi is bringing a budget-friendly smart tag pack for Android and iPhone to its stores next week, offering a two-pack of Maginon Smart Tags for just 14.99 euros. The discount represents a 50% saving on the regular price of 29.99 euros, making it a compelling alternative to Apple's AirTag for anyone prone to misplacing keys, bags, or wallets.

The offer is part of Aldi's weekly leaflet and will be available in the bazaar section starting Saturday, September 19. For shoppers who need more than two trackers or don't have an Aldi nearby, a four-pack of similar trackers is also available on Amazon for 29.99 euros.

Why the Aldi Smart Tag Pack Stands Out

Unlike many trackers that are locked into a single operating system, the Maginon Smart Tags work with both iOS and Android. This cross-platform compatibility means you can link them to an iPhone or an Android phone without worrying about ecosystem restrictions.

That flexibility is a major selling point. Whether you're switching phones or have a mixed-device household, these tags can be used by anyone. The trackers also feature Bluetooth 5.3, which provides a stable, fast connection while consuming very little power, helping to extend battery life.

• Cross-platform support: Works with both iOS and Android devices.
• Bluetooth 5.3: Ensures a reliable connection and low energy consumption.
• Compact and lightweight: Includes a keyring attachment for easy clipping to bags, keys, or luggage.
• Deep discount: At 14.99 euros for two, it's a fraction of the cost of premium trackers.
• Versatile use: Ideal for keys, backpacks, wallets, suitcases, and more.

How the Maginon Smart Tag Compares to the AirTag

Apple's AirTag is the best-known tracker on the market, but it only works within Apple's ecosystem. The Maginon Smart Tag, by contrast, offers similar functionality for both Android and iOS users at a much lower price point.

While the AirTag leverages Apple's Find My network for precise location tracking, the Maginon relies on Bluetooth connectivity. That means its range is more limited, but for everyday items like keys and bags, it's often sufficient. The keyring design also eliminates the need for a separate holder, which is an extra cost with AirTags.

Who Should Consider This Deal?

This Aldi offer is ideal for budget-conscious shoppers who want the convenience of smart tracking without paying premium prices. If you frequently misplace everyday items, a two-pack provides enough coverage for your most important belongings.

Android users, in particular, benefit since AirTags are not an option for them. The Maginon tags offer a straightforward way to keep tabs on essentials without switching to an iPhone. Even iOS users might find the price compelling, especially if they need multiple trackers.

For those who need more than two trackers, the Amazon four-pack at 29.99 euros is a solid alternative. It offers the same cross-platform compatibility and is a good option if Aldi stocks run out or if you prefer shopping online. What to Watch for When Buying Smart Tags

When choosing a Bluetooth tracker, consider the range, battery life, and app ecosystem. The Maginon tags use Bluetooth 5.3, which is efficient, but they may not have the advanced finding features of higher-end models. Also, check the return policy and warranty, especially for budget electronics. Aldi typically offers a 3-year warranty on many of its products, but it's worth confirming at the store. And if you plan to use the tracker for luggage, ensure the keyring attachment is secure. Anyone following the wider picture can start with Budget Hints for Students: Smart Money Management Tips.
