Amazon Echo Show 5 Drops to $64.99 in Massive 41% Discount 2026

The Amazon Echo Show 5 is currently available at a steep discount, nearly half off its regular price. Amazon has slashed the price of many of its devices, making this an ideal time to pick up the smart display for just $64.99, down from $109.99.

That's a 41% discount, one of the better deals we've seen on this model. If you've been eyeing a smart display for your home, this is a compelling opportunity to save big.

What Makes the Echo Show 5 a Standout Smart Display?

The latest generation Echo Show 5 functions similarly to the Echo Dot but adds a 5.5-inch screen. It features a built-in speaker for music and audio playback, and you can connect external devices via Bluetooth. It's also compatible with Alexa+, Amazon's upgraded voice assistant, and supports streaming platforms like Spotify and Prime Video.

The display shows useful information such as the time, weather, and your saved photos from Amazon Photos. It also enables video calls and can even serve as a baby monitor when paired with a compatible camera.

Key Features of the Echo Show 5

• 5.5-inch touchscreen for visual information and entertainment
• Alexa+ compatibility for enhanced voice interactions
• Streaming support including Spotify and Prime Video
• Video calling and baby monitor functionality with compatible cameras
• Bluetooth connectivity for external devices

How Does the Echo Show 5 Compare to Other Smart Displays?

When choosing a smart display, screen size and price are major factors. Here's how the Echo Show 5 stacks up against its larger sibling, the Echo Show 8, and a popular competitor, the Google Nest Hub.

The Echo Show 5 is the most affordable option here, but its smaller screen may not suit everyone. If you prefer a larger display for watching videos or making video calls, the Echo Show 8 might be worth the extra cost.

Who Should Buy the Echo Show 5?

This deal is ideal for anyone looking for a compact smart display to control music, check the weather, or watch occasional videos. It's also a great choice for adding video calling to a bedroom or kitchen.

However, if you frequently watch movies or shows, the 5.5-inch screen might feel cramped. In that case, consider a larger model. But at this price, the Echo Show 5 is an excellent value for basic smart home tasks and entertainment.
