What Makes the LG 65MRGB87B6B a Standout Deal?
At 888 euros, the LG 65MRGB87B6B undercuts many competing 65-inch Mini LED TVs. Mini LED backlighting delivers deeper blacks and higher brightness than traditional LED TVs, and this model adds Dolby Vision support for enhanced HDR content.
The TV also features a 120 Hz refresh rate (up to 144 Hz with VRR) and AMD FreeSync, which reduces screen tearing during fast-paced games. Three HDMI 2.1 ports ensure compatibility with the latest consoles and graphics cards.
Picture and Sound Features
With nine picture modes, including Filmmaker Mode, you can tailor the viewing experience to your content. Dolby Atmos audio provides immersive sound, though a dedicated soundbar might still be beneficial for serious home theater setups.
The MultiPantalla function lets you split the screen to watch two different sources simultaneously—perfect for keeping an eye on a sports game while streaming a show.
Smart TV and Gaming Performance
Running WebOS 26, LG's latest smart TV platform, the interface is intuitive and supports all major streaming apps. Gamers will appreciate the low input lag and VRR support, which make it a solid choice for both casual and competitive play.
However, if your primary focus is cinematic content, an OLED TV might offer better contrast and viewing angles. But for a mixed-use TV, this Mini LED model strikes an excellent balance.
Who Should Buy This TV?
This TV is ideal for households that consume a variety of content—from blockbuster movies to live sports and video games. The 65-inch screen is large enough for most living rooms, and the anti-glare coating helps in bright rooms.
If you're a cinephile who watches movies in a dark room, you might want to consider an OLED instead. But for everyone else, the LG 65MRGB87B6B offers impressive performance at a budget-friendly price.
- Versatile performance: Good for movies, gaming, and sports.
- Gaming features: 120Hz, FreeSync, HDMI 2.1.
- Smart platform: WebOS 26 with all major apps.
- Audio: Dolby Atmos support for immersive sound.
- Limited-time offer: Available until September 28 at MediaMarkt.
