Details of the Arrests and Investigation

The event, which brought together an estimated 15,000 Muslims for worship, study, and reflection, faced a potential serious threat that led to its early closure. Police acted after intelligence emerged over the weekend, arresting three individuals on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and eight others under terrorism laws. One man arrested is 82 years old, and a woman aged 48 was detained in east London on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Ruman Muhith, a media handler for the organizers, described the gathering as a wonderful event attended by people from around the world.
