England rugby players are prepared to walk off the pitch in Argentina if racist abuse is repeated, following incidents last year that targeted black squad members. Captain Jamie George confirmed contingency plans are in place, signaling a strong stance against racism in sport.
England Rugby Players Threaten Walk-Off Over Racist Abuse
During the second Test in San Juan last July, England prop Asher Opoku-Fordjour and Chandler Cunningham-South were subjected to racist slurs from home supporters during the warm-up and first half. World Rugby investigated but could not identify the perpetrators. Now, ahead of Saturday's match, George says the team has discussed leaving the field if necessary.
