Why Matilda Stands Out as a Feelgood Movie
What makes Matilda so enduring is its focus on justice and triumph over adversity. The film's climax, where Matilda uses her telekinetic powers to defeat Miss Trunchbull, is a cathartic moment of moral victory. It teaches children and adults alike that intelligence and kindness can overcome cruelty.
