Newcastle’s transfer strategy under scrutiny
The club targets players aged 24 or under costing between £20m and £40m with high resale value. This approach helps comply with Uefa’s spending regulations after a three-year settlement agreement for breaching rules.
Meanwhile, Bruno Guimarães remains a target for Arsenal, but Newcastle have set a £70m price tag. Howe hopes the Brazilian will stay to ease Bamba’s adaptation to the Premier League.
