New Brico io Store Opens in Varese with La Quattro s.r.l. 2026

Brico io, the leading Italian DIY chain focused on neighborhood hardware stores, has opened a new franchised location in Varese today. This is the fifth store developed in partnership with La Quattro s.r.l., marking another milestone in a successful collaboration that began in February 2022.

With this opening, the Brico io network now totals 122 stores across Italy (42 franchised and 80 company-owned), confirming its commitment to growth and expansion.

“We are very proud to embark on this fifth adventure together with the Santelena family,” said Lorenzo Bocchi, Network Development Manager at Brico io S.p.A. “Even in a smaller footprint compared to our usual standards, we have managed to create an assortment that meets the needs of both the occasional customer and the experienced DIY enthusiast.”

Store Highlights

The new Varese store is strategically located just a stone's throw from the city center, on a high-traffic road that is easy to reach. It covers approximately 8,600 square feet (800 square meters), with 650 square feet (60 square meters) dedicated to the gardening department. It is designed as a convenience store to meet the practical needs of those who live and work in the city. A dedicated parking lot is available for customers.

The building, once home to a historic Lancia-Fiat dealership purchased by Dario Fantinato about twenty years ago, has been completely renovated. It carries the mark of urban space recovery and enhancement. For your own home improvement projects, explore our home improvement collection for tools and supplies.
