The World Cup on US television offers two distinct choices, and English speakers are increasingly flocking to Telemundo for its lively, unabridged coverage. While Fox Sports holds exclusive English broadcast rights, many fans prefer the Spanish-language option for its intensity and global perspective.
Telemundo vs. Fox Sports: A Comparison of World Cup Broadcasts
Fox Sports, owned by Fox Corporation, airs matches with an "America first" aesthetic, including promos for political talk shows and frequent commercial breaks. In contrast, Telemundo, available via Peacock subscription, provides non-stop action with fewer interruptions and a more passionate commentary style.
