In construction and assembly projects meant to withstand all seasons of weather exposure, you need a hybrid MS polymer adhesive in class D4 like Soudal's HB Construct. It's perfect for joints and seals between many building and construction materials including: wood, aluminum, steel, plastics, tiles, concrete, bricks, and more. Surfaces can be damp; the important thing is that they are clean, free of dust, grease, oil, and rust. At least one of the surfaces must be porous, and for perfect adhesion, they should be slightly roughened.

Adhesive Specifications

HB Construct is an exclusive construction adhesive based on hybrid MS polymer, waterproof in category D4, non-foaming, very strong, and free of isocyanates. It is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, does not suffer from temperature variations, and once dried, it withstands temperatures between -30 and 100 °C, with a final strength of 110 kg per cm².

It polymerizes in the presence of moisture, so it can be applied and used even on supports that are not completely dry. It does not shrink, does not foam, and is self-leveling; this characteristic requires more attention when applying on vertical surfaces. It has an open time of 6 minutes, pressure hardening in 60 minutes, and final hardening of 1 mm/24 h. The packaging is a 290 ml cartridge, available in brown, white, and black.

Apply the Adhesive

Apply beads of adhesive on the contact surfaces between the legs and stringers.

Apply the Adhesive One Piece at a Time

Given the 6-minute open time, it is best to apply HB Construct to the pieces you are about to join one at a time.

Apply a Clamp
