- Rodri is the seventh player in history to win all four major trophies.
- He is the first to achieve this in the modern era, combining club and international success.
- His rise from Atletico Madrid to Manchester City shows the value of consistency and hard work.
- No other active player currently holds this complete set.
Why Rodri's Feat Is So Rare
To win the Ballon d'Or, a player must be the best in the world for a calendar year. To win the Champions League, they must dominate Europe's top club competition. The European Championship and World Cup require international success, which often depends on team chemistry and luck. Combining all four is nearly impossible.
Only legends like Beckenbauer and Messi have done it before. Rodri now joins that club, proving that defensive midfielders can be just as impactful as forwards.
