Google Pixel Watch 4: Officially announced with big changes 2026

The Google Pixel Watch 4 has been officially announced and it brings some major changes, but not to the design. Practically, it looks very similar to its predecessor, but has a much better screen, bigger battery and more.

The watch comes in two variants as before – 41mm and 45mm, with a screen size of 1.2″ and 1.4″. Both screens are upgraded and can reach 3,000 nits, on par with other 2025 smartwatches. This means they will have a much better experience outdoors and under the sun.

Additionally, the duo upgrades the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset with the Plus variant – Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1. While the upgrade may sound small on paper, the newer SoC is equipped with an AON (always-on) co-processor. It's a 22nm low-power embedded processor that takes care of core processes while the main SoC is in sleep mode. This saves energy.

Speaking of power, the two models have an upgraded battery of 327mAh (+20mAh) for the 41mm and 459mAh (+39mAh) for the 45mm. With the new batteries, Google expects the 41mm to run for 30 hours on a single charge, while the 45mm will offer 40 hours of battery life with AOD. These figures mean practically a day of use, which is far behind the proposals of Huawei and Garmin.

It's worth noting that the Pixel Watch 4 is “Gemini-ready”, meaning you can talk to Gemini just by raising your wrist. Gemini is also fully integrated with some apps on your watch and will answer your queries. Health and sports tracking features include tracking for over 40 types of exercise, ECG, SpO2, breathing rate and HRV tracking.

The Pixel Watch 4 comes with Wear OS 6, and pricing for the 41mm model starts at $349 for the non-LTE version, while the LTE-enabled version is $399. The 45mm Pixel Watch 4 starts at $399 for the non-LTE version and $449 for LTE.

In Europe, pricing will be similar, €399 and €499 for the 41mm lens, respectively, while the 45mm option costs €449 and €549.
