OnePlus 15: Specs and pre-launch images leaked 2026

The OnePlus 15 is expected, according to the latest rumors, to be announced globally on October 13.

From what it seems, the phone may have an unveiling event for China as well as the global market. OnePlus has kept the reveal of the phone's specifications under wraps until now, essentially only confirming that it will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform.

The phone is said to feature a 6.78-inch, 1.5K resolution, BOE X3 AMOLED display with LTPO technology and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 165Hz, as well as Dolby Vision and Pro XDR support, with an advertised brightness of 1,800 nits.

In the chipset department, there's the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, as already mentioned, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Apparently, memory variants will include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. However, these may vary by region. There will also be Wind Chi Game Kernel 2.0 technology.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 15 apparently sports a triple 50MP system on the back, with a Sony LYT-700 sensor on the main camera (24mm, f/1.8, OIS) and two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors – one for the ultrawide 0.6x (15mm, f/2.0) and one for the telephoto 3.5x (85mm, f/2.8, OIS).

Other leaked specifications include a large third-generation 7,300mAh Glacier battery with support for 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. A new generation of linear dual speakers, a high-intensity vibration motor, a new-generation wet hand touch algorithm, an ultrasonic version under-display fingerprint reader, a new-generation cooling system, a multi-functional NFC and IR blaster, and a USB 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps) Type-C port.

Price information is not yet available, but according to the leak, the OnePlus 15 will be available in Purple, Titanium or Black.
