Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+: Debut with upgraded processors and 7,000mAh batteries 2026

The Redmi Note 15 series has gone official in China and the two Pro models come with several improvements over their predecessors in display, chipset and battery capacity.

The Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ share the same 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,280 x 2,772 px, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum local brightness of 3,200 nits. The panel offers 12-bit color depth and features Xiaomi's Dragon Crystal Glass for added protection.

The Note 15 Pro+ is the first phone to ship with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, which replaces the 7s Gen 3 found in last year's model. The new chip offers 7% CPU and GPU improvements and is paired with a 5200mm² vapor chamber. There is the Note 15 Pro+ Satellite Messaging Edition, which is a first for a Redmi phone.

The Note 15 Pro features MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC, which is an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7300 found in the Note 14 Pro.

Both Note 15 Pro models have 7,000mAh batteries, which is better than the 5,500mAh and 6,200mAh of their predecessors. The Note 15 Pro+ has 90W wired charging, while the 15 Pro has 45W speeds. You can also use the Note 15 Pro as a powerbank thanks to its 22.5W reverse wired charging capabilities.

Both phones reuse the camera setup of their predecessors. The Note 15 Pro+ features a 50MP main unit (OV Light Hunter 800) along with a 50MP (60mm) portrait lens with 2.5x optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The Note 15 Pro offers a 50MP main lens (LYT-600) and an 8MP ultrawide lens.

The Note 15 Pro and Pro+ also have IP68 and IP69K dust and water protection and run Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.

The Note 15 Pro is available in Midnight Black, Cedar White, Sky Blue and Cloud Purple colors. Its price starts at CNY 1,499 ($208) for the 8/256GB version and goes up to CNY 1,899 ($264) for the 12/512GB version.
