3 in 1 Plywood Table, made from 16mm marine plywood, this 3 in 1 table is quick and easy to make if you have all your boards cut to size and assembled with a biscuit joiner.

You have the option of placing the vertical tea holder indoors or outdoors, or on its side to serve as a coffee table.

Use it as a laptop or desk stand that allows you to work comfortably indoors or outdoors. Get comfortable in front of the TV and use it as a TV tray.

YOU WILL NEED:

• 1 of 400 x 716mm 16mm marine plywood – vertical support
• 1 of 400 x 400mm 16mm marine plywood – tray top
• 2 of 384 x 400mm 16mm marine plywood – shelf/base
• 1 of 100 x 400mm 16mm marine plywood – top bracket
• 1 of 100 x 100mm 16mm marine plywood – cut for corner brackets
• Choice of stain, sealant or varnish and equipment.

TOOLS:

• Cookies # 20
• Wood glue
• Rubber mallet
• Orbital sander plus 240 grit sanding pads
• Tape measure and pencil

Step 1: Make the top assembly

• Use a biscuit joiner to cut the slots in the top and shelf, as well as the top support.
• The top section slots into the upright support at one end and also into the front support at the other end.
• Also cut slots in the end of the shelf to allow mounting to the upright bracket, as well as in the top of the other end for mounting to the front bracket to create the shelf assembly.

• Be sure to hold in the correct position so that the cutting slots line up.
• Use glue on the slots, insert the cookies and place the corner brackets on the upright and then put the base together on this. Let the pegcatkin dries overnight.
• Sand the entire project before finishing. You have the option of using interior or exterior sealant or varnish.

Step 4: Finished

To make the table more mobile, you can add caster wheels to the base. However, subtract the extra height of the casters from the length of the upright so that the table is not too high.
