#1: Collection of materials:

1. DC motor with gear
2. Li Ion 3.7v battery
3. Battery holder
4. Switch
5. Silicone gun
6. Welder
7. Knife Cutter
8. Pencil sharpener
9. Bottle cap

#2: Combine DC motor and pencil sharpener

• Take the plastic bottle cap and mark the center point.
• Using a mini drill and knife cut a rectangular slot in the center of the lid.
• Take the DC motor with gear and fix the bottle cap on the motor shaft.
• Take a manual pencil sharpener.
• Using a mini drill, make a rectangular hole opposite the pencil hole in the pencil sharpener.
• Fix the pencil sharpener on the motor shaft above the bottle cap.
• Secure the pencil sharpener and bottle cap to the motor shaft with hot glue.
• Make sure the pencil hole in the sharpener is in line with the motor shaft.

#3: Make the cardboard pieces

• Cut a piece of cardboard 7.5 cm x 6.3 cm in size.
• Plue the motor mechanism in the center of the cardboard as shown in the image above.
• Make sure the hole in the pencil sharpener lines up with the top edge of the cardboard.
• Cut another piece of cardboard measuring 15 cm x 7 cm.
• Plue the smaller piece and the DC motor perpendicular to the base as shown in the image.
• Cut two identical pieces of cardboard as shown in the last image.
• Place a switch on one of the cardboard pieces.

#4: Make the connections

• Using hot glue, glue the cardboard piece on one side.
• Take the piece of cardboard with the switch and connect the wires to the motor.
• Also, take the battery and connect the wires to complete the circuit.
• The circuit must be connected to simply control the motor with a switch.
• Cut another piece of cardboard about 7 cm x 6 cm.
• Stick the cardboard piece to the bottom of the sharpener as shown in the attached image.

#5: Complete the cabinet

• Cut two pieces of cardboard as shown in the image above.
• Be sure to cut a battery door on one of the pieces.
• Refer to the image above and glue the two pieces of cardboard together as shown.
• Take a piece of cardboard and remove the top thick layer of it.
• Using hot glue, glue the cardboard to close the cabinet
• The pencil sharpener box is almost complete with a semi-cylindrical roof.

#6: Garbage container

• Cut two small identical pieces of cardboard.
• Cut the cardboard pieces so that they resemble a window door.
• Stick the pieces onto the cardboard window doors.
• Refer to the image above and make the garbage container.
• Be sure not to use excessive glue on the edges to avoid friction while inserting the trash can into the sharpener.
• Insert the trash container into the pencil sharpener and make sure it stays firmly in place.

#7: Insert the battery

• Open the battery door on the back and insert a battery.
• Close the battery door to use the sharpener.
• Our pencil sharpener machine is now ready.
• Turn on the machine.
• Insert the pencil into the hole.
• Hold the pencil sharpener firmly.
• The pencil sharpens very quickly and easily.
