Materials to use to build a clock with an infinity mirror:

• An old wall clock, the diameter of the rim was 30 cm, however you can use any measurement you like.
• A round mirror with a 10mm hole right in the center, (the diameter here should be smaller than the diameter of the rim of the watch, as you will have to fit the mirror inside the rim)
• A round one-way mirror of the same diameter as the other mirror.
• Some strips of wood, or anything that is flexible and can be used as a spacer between the two mirrors.
• Led strip lights
• A little wire
• Finally we will use a power adapter for the LED strip (mine was 12 volt DC 50 watt)

Step 1: Disassemble the old watch and prepare the ring

Disassemble the old clock, take the rim and drill an 8mm hole 1.5cm from its edge. We will need that hole to feed the cables from the LED strip to the adapter through it.

Step 2: Placing the wooden spacers

Take your wooden strips and place them as shown in the images, which act as dividers between the two mirrors. If you use wood, put some water on it first for 10 minutes. This way it won't break while you fold it.

They should be a few mm wider than the LED strip. At this point, you will need to re-roast the hole in the edge to penetrate the wood.

Step 3: Installing the LED lights

Place the LED strip on the edge, connect the wires and test it.

Step 4: The clock mechanism

Install the clock mechanism on the mirror (I bought a 5mm mirror and had to glue the mechanism on it. If you buy a 3mm thick mirror you could use your own nut!)

Place the clock hands on the mechanism and place the mirror on the edge.

Step 5: Finished!

Use another strip of wood to secure the entire structurea.

Then place the adapter behind the clock and everything is ready. There are many ways to make a quick and easy clock, such as a wooden clock.
