Step 1: Create a back panel

Cut a back panel to the size of a sheet of 3/4″ plywood, as shown in the cutting diagram. Then, using your hole jig, set up for 3/4″ stock and drill pocket holes in the back panel. Before drilling the holes, check which side is the most attractive and then drill the holes on the other side. Also drill a 2-hole hole near the center for the cables to pass through.
Step 2: Cut the edge of the panel

Cut one top edge of the panel to size from a 1x2 board with both ends cut at 45°, as shown in the cutting diagram. I also cut two pieces of the side panel molding to size, cutting one end of each at 45° and the other end square.
Step 3: Add the Border and a Cleat

After sanding the trim pieces, you can attach them to the back panel with 1 1/4″ fine thread pocket screws as shown. Also attach a hanging clip to the back of the panel using #8 x 1″ flat head screws.
Step 4: Make pocket holes at the top and bottom

Cut a bottom shelf cover from a sheet of 3/4″ plywood, as shown in the cutting diagram. Then, using your pocket hole jig, set up for 3/4″ material and drill pocket holes on the Top and Bottom, as shown.
Step 5: Create sides and a divider

Cut two box sides and a box divider to size from a sheet of 3/4″ plywood, as shown in the cutting diagram. Then, with your hole jig, set up for 3/4″ material and drill holesPocket on sides and divider, as shown. Before drilling the holes, check which side is the most attractive and then drill the holes on the other side.
Step 6: Add a shelf

Cut a mantel (box shelf) to size from a sheet of 3/4″ plywood, as shown in the cutting diagram. Then, using the pocket hole template, place 3/4″ material, drill pocket holes as shown.
Step 7: Shelf Assembly

Lay out all the parts of the box so you can identify the front edges that will be visible. Cover those iron edges. Next, attach the sides and shelf divider to the bottom of the shelf using 1 1/4″ coarse thread pocket screws, as shown.
Step 8: Assembly of the complete shelf

You can now attach the shelf and box top using 1 1/4″ coarse thread pocket screws as shown. Due to tight spaces, you may need to use a right angle accessory on your drill as well as a short #2 square drive. You can pick up both at your local home center.
Attach the case: With the shelf complete, you can attach it to the back with 1 1/4″ coarse thread pocket screws, as shown.
Step 9: Add doors if desired

If you want to enclose the left side of the shelf, cut two doors to size from 3/4″ plywood, as shown in the cutting diagram. Then iron and sand all four edges. Overlap the cabinet door hinges. You can then apply varnish or paint to the cabinet to make it fit your decor.
Step 10: Assemble the cabinet

Before installing the cabinet on the wall, determine the components you plan to store in the box. The compartments are large enough for compact items and Blue-Ray players. Then, drill any necessary holes through the back panel to allow the cables to pass through.
After that, mount the cabinet to your wall by attaching the hanging system to the Hanging Cleat (slope) and to the wall according to the manufacturer's instructions.
