- I chose 1/2″ steel conduit in a 10 foot length.
- Choose the place for your pots.
- You will not be able to move them once they are assembled.
- Even on the floor so your bottom pot has a flat surface to sit on (That's what the Terracotta Saucer is for)
- Take your metal bar and start hitting it on the ground.
- Just make sure there are no pesky pipes or natural gas lines where you plan to place your metal bar.
- If you purchased pots the same size as me, then you will need 44″ left above the ground to assemble your pots.
- If you are using conduit, it may get crushed at the top when you are hammering into the ground.
- We had to take a hacksaw and cut it. Otherwise it would not have fit through the drainage holes in the pots.

- Run the rod through the bottom of your largest pots and place it in the soil.
- Fill it almost all the way with potting soil.
- Make sure you put enough soil so that when you put the next pot in it doesn't sink into the big pot.

- Take one of your smaller pots and pass it through the metal bar.
- Tilt it to one side and place it on top of the potting soil you just placed in the large pot.
- As you can see in the picture, this smaller pot will not rest on the side of the bottom pot. The metal bar will prevent it from tipping over as far.
- Place potting soil in the pot, leaving room for your plants.
- Take your next pot and run it through the metal rod.
- The bottom of this pot will sit on the edge of the pot just below it.
- Then repeat the last step with your next pot.
See how the top of the rod is the correct height?

Finally, you can Paint your Pots as we have shown you in previous ones.
