How It Compares to the Steam Deck
The Steam Deck has long been the go-to handheld gaming PC, but its current unavailability and price increase have left many gamers looking for alternatives. The Legion Go S fills that gap with better performance and a similar user experience.
While the Steam Deck uses a custom AMD APU, the Z1 Extreme in the Legion Go S offers more power, which translates to smoother gameplay and higher frame rates. Additionally, the 8-inch display is larger than the Steam Deck's 7-inch screen, providing a more immersive experience.

Performance and Gaming Experience
The Z1 Extreme chip ensures that the Legion Go S can handle even the most demanding games. In our tests, titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring ran smoothly at medium settings, with frame rates consistently above 30fps.
The 120Hz refresh rate of the display also makes fast-paced games feel more responsive, giving players a competitive edge. The touchscreen adds versatility, allowing for easy navigation and gameplay options.
Memory Configurations
The base model comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, but there are higher-end versions with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
