"We get the best stuff; one thing I know how to do is build," he told reporters, emphasizing his real estate expertise. The tour included a new granite driveway, refurbished columns, and freshly laid sod around the helipad.

Trump autographed a stone to be placed at the center of the new helipad, a symbolic gesture of his personal involvement. The renovations come as the national debt surpassed $40 trillion and the ongoing conflict with Iran continues to strain American households, drawing criticism from political opponents.

Criticism and Context
Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) accused Trump of neglecting presidential duties, saying, "He doesn't want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom." The tour, which some compared to a segment from Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, highlighted the president's focus on aesthetics rather than policy.
Despite the backlash, Trump defended the renovations, claiming previous presidents neglected the property. "It's ridiculous the way this place was taken care of," he said, adding that his real estate background gives him a unique eye for improvements.
