Apple Crumble is a Knives Out-inspired mystery game that lets you snoop on your own family to uncover secrets and solve a puzzling crime. In this immersive walking simulator, you play as a detective navigating a family home where everyone is a suspect. From your stressed mum to your midlife crisis uncle, each character hides clues that unravel a deeper, emotional story.
What Makes Apple Crumble Unique?
Unlike traditional mystery games, Apple Crumble focuses on exploration and discovery. You can open every drawer, door, and hidden nook to find clues. The game’s storytelling extends into fictional items like a film script written by your uncle, adding layers of believability. Founder Annika Maar says the team wanted to create a “sad grandma” game after their previous title, Duck Detective, blending humor with heartfelt moments.
