If you're visiting Prague and want to explore its breathtaking history without spending a dime, you're in luck. The city offers some of the best free tours of Prague in Spanish, led by expert guides who bring the city's past to life.
As a travel journalist with years of experience reviewing walking tours, I know that not all "free" tours are created equal. Some are truly immersive experiences, while others are little more than a glorified sales pitch. That's why I’ve done the research to find the most trustworthy, engaging, and historically accurate options for Spanish-speaking visitors.
From the iconic Old Town Square to the mysterious Jewish Quarter, these free walking tours in Prague cover the city's most fascinating landmarks. You’ll hear tales of medieval kings, the legacy of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the chilling events of World War II—all narrated by passionate local guides. Whether you're drawn to the enchanting Charles Bridge, the majestic Prague Castle, or the vibrant neighborhood of Malá Strana, these tours offer an unbeatable introduction to the Czech capital.
But are free tours really free? How do they compare to paid tours? And which Spanish-language tour in Prague should you choose? I’ll break it all down for you, so you can make the most of your visit without breaking the bank.
How much should I tip?
Best Free Tour of Prague in Spanish
1. Essential free tour of Prague

This 2.5-hour tour is ideal for first-time visitors to the Czech capital who want to see its must-see sites and most famous corners. With a local guide, you'll visit iconic sites such as the Charles Bridge and learn a lot about Prague's history and interesting facts.
2. Free tour of the Old City and the Jewish quarter

Personally, we find the Old Town and the Jewish quarter of Josefov to be the most interesting areas of Prague and with this free tour you can explore them learning much more about each detail. Legends, history and, of course, you will see some of its synagogues.
3. Free tour of the New City

Be careful, because although the name may be misleading, this is not the opposite free tour to the previous one. Prague's New Town ( Nové Město ) is a district founded in the 14th century by Emperor Charles IV to expand the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Unlike the Old Town, this area has wider avenues and an architecture that combines medieval, baroque and modernist buildings.

It takes place at night , when the spooky atmosphere permeates everything and passes through the streets of the historic center and the Jewish Quarter, areas that hide a few hidden secrets. Not suitable for the faint-hearted!

On the other side of the Vltava River stands this hill where one of the most important medieval walled enclosures of its time (10th century) was built. With this free tour in Spanish you will travel for 2 and a half hours to the place where, apparently, the city of Prague was founded. You will visit the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, the Vyšehrad Cemetery and, at the bottom, the curious cubist houses of Villa Kovarovic.
8. Free tour of Prague Castle

Finally, we recommend a free tour that will take you to discover another must-see in the city: the Castle, the largest medieval fortress in the world , no less!
