Manchester United are preparing to target Crysencio Summerville as a potential replacement should Marcus Rashford leave the club this summer, with the West Ham winger valued at around £30m. The Dutch forward has impressed in the Championship and on the international stage, making him a prime candidate to bolster United's left flank.
Why Summerville Fits United's Profile
Summerville, 24, is viewed as having the right profile for a left-sided forward. His pace, dribbling, and ability to cut inside make him a natural fit for Erik ten Hag's system. Since West Ham's relegation to the Championship, the club is open to selling the Netherlands international, who has three years remaining on his contract.

Rashford's Uncertain Future
Marcus Rashford's future at Old Trafford remains in the balance after a breakdown in his relationship with the club. The 28-year-old spent loan spells at Aston Villa and Barcelona over the past two seasons. While an uneasy truce means he is expected to start the season at United, the club's preference is to offload his £17.5m-a-year contract via a sale or loan. The challenge lies in finding a club with the financial capacity to afford him.

Midfield Transfer Plans

Michael Carrick has identified Roma's Manu Koné, Bournemouth's Alex Scott, and Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga as targets, but each player's asking price of £60m-£80m makes a move unlikely.
