Icac Hears Perrottet Sister-in-Law Denies Lying Under Oath 2026

The Icac inquiry into alleged illegal donations to the NSW Liberals heard Dominic Perrottet's sister-in-law deny lying under oath to protect her husband. Anita Perrottet testified that hundreds of thousands of dollars in payments were for legitimate strategic and marketing advice.

Allegations of Concealment at Icac

Anita Perrottet, wife of Charles Perrottet, faced intense questioning about payments from Beckington and JPG Advisory. She maintained that the funds were for verbal advice, including website creation, despite receiving nearly $255,000 in a single quarter from JPG Advisory.

The inquiry is investigating whether Ellis, Greenwood, and Charles Perrottet accepted prohibited donations from fugitive developer Jean Nassif and his company Toplace between 2020 and 2023.

Key Testimony and Denials

Counsel assisting Dr Peggy Dwyer SC suggested Anita Perrottet was in an 'impossible situation' and lied under oath. However, she firmly rejected this, stating she provided genuine services.

• Payments totaling up to $333,500 from Beckington
• Verbal advice for JPG Advisory worth $255,000 in one quarter
• Alleged $2 million expected distribution among the men

Comparison of Payments and Services

The case highlights concerns about political donation transparency and the potential influence of developers on NSW politics.
