Specifically designed for individuals with reduced mobility, the Della Fiore bathtub is ergonomically crafted with an extremely low entry step. It features a non-slip platform and seat, along with an inward-opening door that creates a perfect watertight seal. Simply connect it to your plumbing system, and you can also add various home improvement safety accessories for enhanced peace of mind.

Key Features of the Della Fiore Walk-In Tub

This isn't just a bathtub; it's a complete bathing system designed for independence and safety. Here are the standout features that make it a top choice for accessible bathrooms.

• Ultra-Low Entry Step: The step-in height is minimal, making it easy to enter and exit without lifting your legs high. This reduces the risk of slips and falls.
• Non-Slip Floor & Seat: Safety is paramount. The built-in seat and floor area are textured to provide excellent grip, even when wet.
• Watertight Inward-Opening Door: The door swings inward, allowing you to open it while seated. A high-quality seal ensures no leaks during use.
• Ergonomic Design: The tub is shaped to support your back and allow for a comfortable, relaxing bathing position.
• Flexible Installation: Choose between left or right door hinges, and install the tub in a corner or as a freestanding centerpiece. Pair it with a modern bathroom vanity for a cohesive look.

Installation & Setup

One of the biggest advantages of the Della Fiore tub is its straightforward installation process. It is designed to connect directly to your existing home plumbing system.

• Plumbing Connection: The tub comes with standard inlet and outlet connections. We recommend hiring a licensed plumber to ensure proper water pressure and drainage.
• Optional Safety Accessories: You can enhance the tub with grab bars, a hand-held shower head, and a thermostatic mixing valve to prevent scalding. Browse our selection of plumbing fixtures and safety gear to complete your setup.
• Space Requirements: Measure your bathroom carefully. The tub is available in different sizes, so check the specifications to ensure a perfect fit. Consider adding a large mirror to make the space feel more open.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Is the Della Fiore tub suitable for wheelchair users?

While the tub itself is not a roll-in shower, the low step and transfer seat make it an excellent option for those who can transfer from a wheelchair to the built-in seat. For additional support, consider installing grab bars from our home improvement collection.

2. How do I clean and maintain the watertight seal?

The rubber door seal should be wiped clean after each use to prevent mold and soap scum buildup. Periodically apply a silicone-based lubricant to keep the seal flexible and effective.

3. Can I install this tub myself?

While a skilled DIYer could handle the installation, we strongly recommend professional installation to guarantee the watertight integrity of the door and proper connection to your home's plumbing system.

4. What colors and finishes are available?

The Della Fiore tub is typically available in classic white, but some models offer additional color options. Check with your supplier for specific availability.

5. Does the tub come with a warranty?

Yes, Della Fiore offers a comprehensive warranty on the tub shell, door seal, and internal mechanisms. Be sure to register your product after purchase.

Create a Complete Accessible Bathroom

Upgrading to a walk-in tub is a fantastic step, but don't stop there. Create a fully accessible and relaxing bathroom by coordinating your new tub with other elements. A stylish bathroom vanity provides ample storage, while soft bathroom rugs add comfort underfoot. Complete the look with moisture-resistant shower curtains and proper task lighting for safety.

Beyond the Bathroom: Home Safety & Comfort

Accessibility improvements can extend throughout your home. Consider adding motion-sensor outdoor lighting for safer entryways, or a storage bench in the entryway for easy seating while putting on shoes. For the bedroom, an adjustable bed frame can make getting in and out of bed much easier.

The Della Fiore 'Vasca per Tutti' is more than just a bathtub—it's an investment in independence, safety, and daily comfort. By removing the barriers to a relaxing bath, it allows everyone to enjoy the simple pleasure of a warm soak.
