LG Xboom Blast: 220W Portable Speaker With 36-Hour Battery 2026

The LG Xboom Blast is now official, a new powerful portable Bluetooth speaker designed to keep the party going for hours. Priced at €498.60, it delivers up to 220W of power and a battery that can last up to 36 hours, making it ideal for outdoor gatherings and events.

What Makes the LG Xboom Blast Stand Out?

The Xboom Blast joins LG's lineup of portable speakers but takes a more conventional approach than the Xboom Power series, which focuses on karaoke features. Instead, the Blast emphasizes raw audio power and endurance, with a few smart features to enhance the listening experience.

At the heart of the speaker are two 5.25-inch woofers and two 20mm tweeters, which together promise deep bass and crisp highs. When plugged into a power outlet, the speaker can output a maximum of 220W, dropping slightly to 210W when running on battery. This makes it one of the more powerful portable speakers in its class.

Battery Life and Portability

One of the most impressive features of the Xboom Blast is its battery life. LG claims up to 36 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, which means you can host multiple parties without needing to recharge. And if that's not enough, the battery is removable, so you can purchase a spare and swap it in to keep the music going.

Despite its power, the speaker is designed to be portable, though its exact dimensions and weight haven't been disclosed yet. It likely comes with a built-in handle or strap for easy carrying, similar to other models in the Xboom series.

How It Compares to Other Portable Speakers

To understand where the Xboom Blast fits in the market, here's a comparison with similar high-power portable speakers:

As the table shows, the Xboom Blast offers a competitive balance of power and battery life, especially with its removable battery feature, which is uncommon in this segment. The longer history behind the story is traced in LG xboom La Bestia Stage 501: 220W Portable Speaker With AI Karaoke.

Who Should Consider the LG Xboom Blast?

This speaker is aimed at people who love hosting outdoor parties, tailgates, or camping trips where access to power is limited. The long battery life and high power output make it suitable for large spaces and noisy environments. It's also a good option for small events or presentations where you need reliable, room-filling sound. However, at nearly €500, it's an investment. Those who don't need the extreme battery life or the removable battery might find cheaper alternatives. But for serious party hosts, the Xboom Blast could be worth the price. A closer look at the same subject appears in Lidl's Silvercrest Bluetooth Speaker Drops to €31.99 in 24-Hour Flash Sale.
