MediaMarkt's outlet store on eBay has listed a brand-new Apple iMac with the M4 chip for just 1,439.10 euros, a significant discount from its typical retail price. This is not an open-box or display unit, according to the listing, making it a rare find for Apple fans looking to save.
The iMac in question features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display, an 8-core CPU and GPU, 16GB of RAM, and the latest M4 processor. With Apple's recent price increases, this deal stands out as one of the best opportunities to get a current-generation Mac at a lower cost.

Why This iMac Deal Matters
Apple products rarely see steep discounts, especially newly released models. The iMac M4, introduced in late 2024, typically retails for over 1,800 euros in other stores. At 1,439.10 euros, buyers save roughly 360 euros—about 20% off.
What makes this offer even more appealing is that the unit is completely new, not a floor model or refurbished item. Most devices in MediaMarkt's outlet have been previously displayed, but this iMac is untouched and comes with the full manufacturer's warranty.
Key Features of the iMac M4
The iMac M4 is a powerful all-in-one desktop that suits both work and study. Its slim design saves space, and the 24-inch LCD screen with 4,480 x 2,520 resolution delivers sharp, vibrant visuals.
- M4 chip with 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU for smooth performance
- 16GB unified memory and 256GB SSD (typical base configuration)
- 24-inch 4.5K Retina display with 218 ppi and 60Hz refresh rate
- Built-in sound system that eliminates the need for external speakers
- Brand-new condition with full warranty, not a display unit
These specs make it ideal for everyday tasks, creative work, and entertainment. The included speakers are surprisingly capable, so you won't need extra audio gear right away.
How This Deal Compares to Other Retailers
To put the price in perspective, here's a quick comparison of the iMac M4's pricing across different sources:
| Retailer | Price (euros) | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| MediaMarkt Outlet (eBay) | 1,439.10 | New |
| Other stores (typical) | 1,800+ | New |
| Apple Store (official) | 1,800+ | New |
As the table shows, the MediaMarkt outlet price is significantly lower than the standard retail price. Even though the iMac M4 has seen a price hike recently, this deal undercuts the competition by a wide margin.
Who Should Consider This iMac?
This iMac is a great fit for students, professionals, and home users who want a reliable, stylish desktop without spending a fortune. Its compact footprint makes it perfect for small spaces, dorms, or home offices.
If you're in the market for a Mac but don't need the extra power of a MacBook Pro or Mac Studio, the iMac M4 offers an excellent balance of performance and value. The 16GB of RAM ensures smooth multitasking, and the M4 chip handles demanding applications with ease.
What to Watch Out For
While the deal is attractive, buyers should verify a few details before purchasing. First, confirm that the unit is indeed new and not a returned item. Second, check the warranty terms—Apple's standard one-year warranty should apply, but it's wise to double-check with the seller. Also, consider the storage capacity. The listing mentions 16GB RAM but doesn't specify the SSD size; the base model usually comes with 256GB, which may be limiting for some users.
