• 6 units – 2x4 at 11 inches for smaller legs
• 5 units – 2x3 at 12 inches and 3/4 bench supports
• 4 units – 2x4 in 61 inches for seat boards
• 4 units – 2x4 at 22 inches for supports
• 3 units – 2x4 at 23 inches for larger legs
• 2 units – 2x6 in 14 inches and 3/4 bench top

STEP 1:

So build the top of your work table: Attach the plates to the external boards with your 1 1/2 inch pocket hole system using the 2 1/2 inch pocket screws accompanied by glue. Also make sure to use glue that is applicable for outdoor projects. Place the plates 1/4 inch apart.

STEP 2:

As a result, attach the supports to the bench: Use a 1 1/2 inch cardstock pocket hole system with 2 1/2 inch pocket screws and adhesive to attach the supports or use 2 1/2 inch screws from the table top and secure the countersink. Brackets will sit 1 inch from the front-back edges and 1 1/2 inches from the side edges, and should be spaced as shown below.

STEP 3:

Also attach to bench top, supports and legs with the 1 1/2 inch pocket hole system and 2 1/2 inch pocket screws plus glue.
