The furniture is a structure based on two ladder-type sides, crossed by removable covers to assemble and disassemble the furniture as many times as you want. It measures 1.6 m high, 40 cm deep and 1.2 m wide.
It will have 3 shelves, but the center one can be used as a desk cover or countertop for working standing up in the kitchen, depending on the height at which it is fixed.

Procedure:
#1. Cut the wood
Using a jigsaw or circular saw, cut the 2x4" planed pine into 4 pieces of 1.6 m and 8 of 22 cm. These cuts are for the 2 ladder-type sides.
The covers are 3 pieces of 18mm MDF, 1 measuring 120×40 cm (which is the one above) and 2 measuring 114×40. For these last two, very thin openings must be made in their corners and the length of the beam so that they fit on the sides.
For the covers or shelves, you must cut 6 pieces of 2×3” planed pine to make beams that support these surfaces, and at the same time join the 2 sides.
These pieces are cut with a circular saw or jigsaw and measure 112 cm.

#2. Make the perforations

Each side is formed with 2 verticals of 1.6 m and 4 crossbars of 22 cm. The location of them, from bottom to top is: The first is 7.5 cm free from the ground, the next at 32.5 cm, then at 43 cm and finally at 33.5 cm.
#3. Assemble the sides

Apply cold glue on the edges and with clamps, press the verticals with the crossbars to ensure that they are at 90º, then screw the lag bolts using a ratchet or a suitable socket for an electric drill.
#4. Plug the holes
The holes where the lag bolts go are covered with 22 mm wooden dowels and cut with a hand saw.

Then they are glued with cold glue and tapped gently to leave them well embedded.

#5. Sand
To improve the finish, sand the sides and corners to eliminate splinters.

#6. Place dowels in the beams
The beams will have 2 fixing systems that complement each other. One is the marquise bolt that will allow the furniture to be disassembled, and it also requires 8 mm grooved wooden dowels to prevent the beam from rotating on its own axis.
There are 2 dowels for each end, for this you have to make 2 holes with an M8 wood drill bit on the edges of the beams, which fit with another 2 holes in the verticals of the sides.
The location of these beams must coincide with the height at which the shelves or covers of the furniture will be placed.

#7. Fix the beams on the sides
Make holes in the edges of the beams and on the sides so that the marquise bolt can be screwed in. These holes are made with a 12 mm drill bit, and must be made considering the position of the wooden dowels that will help immobilize the beam.
A hole goes into the axis of the 2x3” beam and 4 cm from its end, this hole is for the bolt drum; and the second perforation goes vertically from the side to the axis.

On the vertical side, the first two perforations go flush with the structure. The following ones can go to 90 cm to work standing up, then to 75 cm to use as a desk and one to 40 cm as a low shelf. Now, so that the 40 cm shelf does not interfere when using the furniture as a desk, the table is placed on the desk cover, so that it is double and the beam that goes along the front is removed and placed 90 cm away, in the back.
You have to keep in mind that there are only 6 beams and you play with them depending on the height used, whether 90 or 75 cm.

The bolt is inserted through the 2x4" vertical, fitted into the hole of the beam and tightened with the drum. For this task, 2 screwdrivers must be used that can be handled simultaneously.

#8. Paint the covers
So that the covers have a shiny finish, and can be cleaned with a damp cloth, resisting the conditions of a kitchen, they are painted with a metal enamel, which is also suitable for wood. You have to apply at least 3 coats, letting it dry in between, and it can be applied with a brush or spray gun.
The first coat is diluted by 50% so that it penetrates well into the wood, it is left to dry and the imperfections are sanded with very fine sandpaper. The second and third coat can be applied without diluting, but if done with a spray gun, it must be diluted by 10%.

The rest of the furniture structure must be protected with a wood sealant, which will also help make it resistant to moisture. The first coat is diluted with 3 parts thinner and 1 part sealer, and the second with 2 parts thinner and 1 part sealer.
