MediaMarkt Outlet Sale: Nintendo Switch 2 and PS Portal Deals 2026

Gaming hardware deals are getting harder to find, but MediaMarkt's outlet is currently liquidating a few Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation Portal units at prices well below their standard retail. If you've been waiting for a price break on either device, this is one of the few opportunities to save in a market where console prices have been climbing.

According to reports, the Nintendo Switch 2 now carries a suggested retail price of €499.99 after a September price increase, while the PS Portal typically sells for around €219.99. The outlet deals bring both down significantly, with free and relatively fast shipping included.

Why Console Prices Are Rising in 2026

Buying a video game console in 2026 often means paying more for the same hardware than you would have a few years ago. Companies like Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have raised the recommended prices of their latest releases, sometimes multiple times.

Nintendo was among the last to adjust the price of the Switch 2, which now costs €499.99 at most retailers. That makes hunting for discounts more important than ever if you want to get the best possible price.

What Makes This Outlet Deal Stand Out

MediaMarkt's outlet on eBay is usually one of the best places to find good prices on consoles and more. These Nintendo Switch 2 and PS Portal offers are excellent examples: both are well below their respective MSRPs.

Plus, they come with free and fairly quick shipping. Both consoles include a warranty and a 30-day return window, so you can buy with confidence.

Nintendo Switch 2: A Hybrid Console With a Growing Library

The Nintendo Switch 2 is an excellent hybrid console that improves on the previous generation in many ways. It continues to build on the Switch's success with a growing catalog of games that appeals to both handheld and docked players.

For anyone who missed the original Switch or wants to upgrade, the Switch 2 offers backward compatibility and enhanced performance. The outlet price makes it a compelling option, especially for families or gamers who want flexibility.

PS Portal: Now More Versatile Than Ever

The PS Portal has gained a new dimension with a recent update that allows cloud gaming (with a subscription) without needing a PS5 at all times. That means you can stream supported games directly to the device, making it a more standalone accessory.

This update significantly increases the Portal's value, especially for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. At the outlet price, it's a great way to extend your PS5 experience to another screen in the house.
