Football transfer rumours are swirling as Barcelona set their sights on Eli Junior Kroupi after Robert Lewandowski's departure. With the Catalan giants in need of a new striker, the Bournemouth forward has emerged as their Plan B, but a £110m price tag and Premier League competition complicate any deal.
Barcelona's Striker Search Intensifies
Barcelona's president Joan Laporta is actively seeking a replacement for Lewandowski, who left at the end of last season. The only striker currently on their books scored the World Cup final winner, but the club needs more firepower. Julián Alvarez remains a top target, yet Atlético Madrid's refusal to negotiate has pushed Barça to explore alternatives.

Eli Junior Kroupi impressed in his first English season, making him an attractive option. However, Bournemouth have publicly stated he is not for sale, and their valuation of £110m reflects the current market for young Premier League talent.
Other Clubs in the Race
Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and Tottenham are all monitoring the situation, which could drive up the price further. Chelsea's João Pedro is seen as an unrealistic Plan C, while Danny Welbeck might be a stopgap Plan D. Meanwhile, Tottenham are also linked with Manchester City's Savinho, who reportedly wants a move to north London.
Jack Grealish's Uncertain Future
Jack Grealish has been left out of City's pre-season tour of Asia, sparking speculation about his future. Manager Enzo Maresca remained non-committal, saying, “At the moment, he is here,” leaving the door open for a potential exit. This adds another layer to the transfer window's drama.
Crystal Palace and Brentford Battle for Sangaré
Crystal Palace are weighing a bid for Lens midfielder Mamadou Sangaré, but Brentford are in advanced talks for a £41m move. The 24-year-old Mali international could fill a Jordan Henderson-sized void. Palace, yet to spend this summer, have only signed free agent Óscar Mingueza.
