Liz Truss has assembled a host of hard-right speakers for the UK's first CPAC event in London, marking a significant moment in conservative politics. The Conservative Political Action Conference, originally an American staple that fueled Donald Trump's rise, has now launched a British spin-off aimed at reshaping the right-wing landscape in the UK.
Key speakers and controversial figures at CPAC GB
The three-day event features a lineup of hard-right influencers and politicians from around the world. Among them is US rightwing figure Jack Posobiec, who promoted the debunked "Pizzagate" conspiracy theory. Attendees paid between £100 and £10,000 for access to the conference, which also includes speeches from Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, and Pauline Hanson, leader of Australia's One Nation party.

Far-right rhetoric and conspiracy theories
Speakers like George Simion, a Romanian ultranationalist, used the platform to push far-right slogans such as "remigration" and the "great replacement" conspiracy theory. Simion stated, "This is not diversity. This is replacement. The answer is remigration. Legal, orderly but firm." Suella Braverman, a Reform MP, also addressed the crowd, focusing on white working-class boys and claiming that "attempts to be anti-racist have institutionalised anti-white racism."
