Then cut the board:

Then use the piece and the tracing to make a pair, but be sure to cut it inside the line.

Cut the pieces needed to make the box frame (from the cut list)

Make the backup.

So, start making the frame of the storage box by building the two longest sides.

Attach the bottom of the frame...

And one side.

Now you must cut and join pieces of plywood to complete the box (almost complete box). Scroll down to frame dimensions to see plywood measurements.

Supports to reinforce the corners.

Use repair wrenches to attach the backrest frame to the box.

Paint the box to seal the wood.

Frame dimensions.

Make the side/arm rest (you can make it longer if you want). For the sturdier arm rest, glue wood with 3/4″ plywood or buy thicker plywood

Cut and Paint.

While you wait for the paint to dry, make the legs by gluing together two 4 x 3″ pieces of red oak (or any hardwood). Then, sand, paint and let it dry.

Start making the storage cover frame (seat part). We use red oak (very strong wood), so you won't need to use a thicker and wider board.

Use a corner wrench and glue to join the corners. For every wood-to-wood joint you should ALWAYS use glue.

Frame

Use leftover nylon strips or you can buy them. If using plywood, use 3 or 4″ foam.

It must arrive like this.

Measure and cut the foam.

Paste the foam.

Use tack glue and staple the sides.

And the fabric, make sure the fabric pattern is distributed proportionally.

Add the foam to the backing.

Cover the backing and short front side of the box with fabric keeping in mind the pattern design.

Then cover the front long side of the box. Please note to match the pattern of the seat and bedroom storage box.

Attach the hinges and make holes in the fabric to screw first so you don't pull on the fabric when you drive the screws in.

Place the box on one side and place the seat part.

Glue the rest of the arm.
Then upholster the rest of the side and bottom with plain fabric.

Place a small piece of fabric on the back of the hinge before tightening the screws to hide the hinges.
As a result we have a beautiful finish.

Finally, attach the clear coated legs, then you will get your comfortable piece of furniture that will last a long time.
