Plans to Build a Corner Office Desk, the corners of offices can become very useful places for computers. With this simple plan, you can turn two base units into a full corner desk system.

Materials:
- 1 Sheet of 3/4″ MDF or A1 Plywood
If you are using A1 Plywood: 4 1×2 and 1 1×3 boards - 3″ screws to attach rear leg or corner brackets or screws to attach rear leg with accessories
- 1 1/4 inch screws, 2-1/2″ pocket hole screws, and 1-1/4″ pocket hole screws
- Wood glue
- Wood filler
- 120 grit sandpaper
- Primer
- Wood finish
- Painting
- Paint brush
Tools:
- Tape measure
- Carpenter's square
- Bookmarks
- Hammer
- Kreg Jig Tool
- Circular Saw
- Sander
- Sierra
General instructions:
Work on a clean level surface and use proper safety precautions and equipment. Review plans before you begin, having a clear understanding of how the plan will be organized. Pre-drill and countersink your screws, using glue.

Cutting list for the table
- 1 – 3/4″ MDF or A1 Plywood cut into a 38″ x 38″ square (One corner will be cut in step 1)
- 2 Boards – 1×24 @ 24 1/4″ (You can cut your scrap pieces from the corner, dimensions 23 1/2″ x 24 1/4″)
Cutting list for table bottom adjustment
- 1 Board – 1×2 @ 58 1/4″ (Red Trim), 1×2 @ 38 3/4″ (Yellow Trim) and 1×2 @ 22″ (Pink Cut, Cut to Size, End Miter 45 degrees)
- 2 Boards – 1×2 @ 56 3/4″ (Trim in green)
- 4 Boards – 1×2 @ 16 1/2″ (Cutout in blue)
List of cuts for the paw
- 3 Boards – 1×3 @ 29 3/4″ (leg pieces)
#1:

Measuring the upper parts.
For the top of your bases and make sure they fit into a 15 1/2″ x 21″ opening.
If they don't, adjust the trim lengths to fit in step 3.
#2:

Pieces of the table.
Cut out your table pieces as shown above.
For the corner, blue, cut a 38″ x 38″ square. Mark on 2 sides 23 1/2″ from the back.
Draw a 45 degree angle between the two points and cut the corner.
#3:

- Cut out the pieces. At the bottom of the table, attach the moldings with the 1 1/4″ screws and glue.
- Start with the red plate, clamp it 3″ from the back edge and 1″ from the front edge as shown above.
- Go over the green boards, leaving a 16 1/2″ space between the two green boards. Next, fasten the white boards. When whiteboards extend across the table seam, be sure to attach them to both the corner and side pieces of the table.
- Check the yellow trim in place. Finally, measure and cut the pink piece, mitering the ends at 45 degrees.
- Use glue and let the glue dry on the flat piece.
#4:
Build the leg by attaching 2 of the 1x3 boards together with glue, 1 1/4″ screws, and clamps. Let dry and secure the remaining 1x3, again with glue, clamps and screws. Let dry.
You can attach the leg to the table top by screwing it through the top, screwing it through the molding using corner brackets.
#5:

Assembly. Assemble the desk with 2 of the base units from the collection. It is recommended that you attach the table to the base unit with a couple of screws to secure it in place.
You can do this by pre-drilling through the table moldings on the sides of the base units. You will need 2″ screws.
